The Russian occupation of Sumy Oblast was a military occupation that began on 24 February 2022, when Russian forces invaded Ukraine and began capturing parts of the Sumy Oblast. The capital of the Oblast, Sumy, was never captured by Russian forces, however, other cities were captured including Konotop and Trostyanets. On 6 April, Russian forces left the oblast, ending its military occupation.
However, the economic crisis is ongoing.
Impuls is constantly supporting local inhabitants and newly arrived refugees in the Sumy area. We have helped 220 people so far by distributing food supplies as other goods necessary for daily life.
Support Ukrainian families by donating any amount to Impuls. Help us bring Christmas to Ukraine.
